 RAYUS Radiology is looking for a detail-oriented Scheduling Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. After completing an initial onsite training period (up to 6 months), you’ll have the flexibility to work remotely while helping patients schedule diagnostic imaging appointments.

 As the voice of RAYUS Radiology, you’ll provide top-notch customer service by managing high-volume inbound calls, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a seamless experience for patients and providers.

 📋 Responsibilities:

 Scheduling &amp; Patient Interaction (85%)

 Answer and manage high-volume phone calls professionally
 
 </li>
 <li data-start="1188" data-end="1246">
 
 Schedule diagnostic exams based on policy and protocol
 
 </li>
 <li data-start="1247" data-end="1320">
 
 Collect and input accurate personal, insurance, and financial details
 
 </li>
 <li data-start="1321" data-end="1412">
 
 Notify patients of prep instructions, insurance details, and financial responsibilities
 
 </li>
 <li data-start="1413" data-end="1465">
 
 Communicate appointment updates to technologists
 
 </li>
 <li data-start="1466" data-end="1519">
 
 Maintain and update referring physician databases
 
 </li>
 <li data-start="1520" data-end="1596">
 
 Provide occasional backup to front desk teams or cross-center scheduling
 
 </li>
</ul>

 Insurance &amp; Pre-Authorization (10%)

 Verify insurance and obtain pre-certifications for exams
 
 </li>
 <li data-start="1701" data-end="1758">
 
 Determine when waivers or authorizations are required
 
 </li>

 Other Duties (5%)

 Handle miscellaneous administrative and scheduling tasks as needed

 ✅ Requirements:
</h3>

 Required:

 High school diploma or GED
 
 </li>

 Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems
 
 </li>

 Ability to manage multiple phone lines and high call volumes
 
 </li>
</ul>

 Preferred:

 1-2 years of customer service or clinical business office experience

 Knowledge of medical terminology
